Do What You Love?
This is very funny in light of what we talked about in our Financial Peace University class last night. You guessed it. The topic was Careers and finding a vocation that you're passionate about (something that you love!). That would be ideal but unfortunately most of us simply have a J.O.B. to pay the bills. Do what you love? More like do what you hate so you can put food on the table. Maybe one day I'll be able to do what I love. Just gotta figure out what that is. Thankfully after last night's class I have a few ideas.
I highly recommend reading Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey (or even better take the Financial Peace University classes). My parents went through the program and recommended it to my wife and I. It's great for anyone needs or wants to get a better hold on their finances. We're currently in the infancy stages but have begun down the path to financial peace. We've got a long way (a really long way) to go but it feels great just having started. That's an accomplishment in itself.
